Dansville Acupuncture Center (DAC) (formerly Naples Valley Acupuncture) has been serving the holistic health needs of our region's rural and small town communities with affordable, convenient, and compassionate health care since 2010. Full-Service Acupuncture
Private Sessions allow time to delve deep into your health concerns and goals and address the root of symptoms with a full evaluation and assessment and a holistic, personalized treatment plan. Relax in a soothing private room with soft music, heated massage tables and access to all the tools and point protocols the acupuncturist feels are appropriate for your condition. Treatments include acupuncture but also may include other modalities such as infrared heat, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and more. Once the needles are inserted, rest comfortably for 20-30 minutes, entering a deep relaxation that allows the Qi to flow smoothly. 90 minute initial/extended session. (extended sessions are for returning patients who have need a new assessment after a lapse of 12 months or more). Follow-ups 45-60 minutes.

Community Style Acupuncture

Community Acupuncture is a model of delivery intended to make acupuncture more accessible for all with the understanding that acupuncture works best when people can get treatment frequently enough to have an appropriate “dose”. Treatments are given in a group setting, using point prescriptions primarily on the arms and legs, so no undressing is required. And yes...back pain can be treated using points on the arms and legs. Relax in comfortable zero-gravity recliners in a warm, inviting community room. Choose from a menu of treatments for common ailments, or just to de-stress. Community acupuncture is a great option for when you have a common minor symptom or for when you want to supplement your personal treatment plan for more complex conditions with more frequent acupuncture. Personalized treatment plans do require a prior consultation. This consult is included at no additional charge during a private treatment appointment. For those who do not wish a private treatment, a separate consultation can be scheduled prior to the clinic for $50. Appointments are highly encouraged and walk-in’s are welcome as space allows. 30-60 minute sessions based on how long you wish to rest.
Herbal Medicine
Get customized formulations using both Eastern and Western herbal medicine traditions and paradigms. Choose from a variety of forms (raw herbs teas/decoctions, powdered granules, pills/capsules, tinctures, etc) to access the powerful healing of plant medicine safely with expert, professional guidance. Consultation is required for customized formulations. Consult is Included with private acupuncture treatments or you can schedule a separate herbal consultation without acupuncture. You will receive an herbal prescription/ recommendation with your consult. You are welcome to fill your herbal prescription in our in-house herb dispensary or take the recommendations elsewhere to be filled. Herbs and refills are additional cost.
Herbal Consult is included with private acupuncture sessions.
Herbal Consult only (no acupuncture) is $50.

QUIT SMOKING Acupuncture helps reduce cravings while simultaneously boosting energy and blood circulation resulting in a state of relaxation and well-being. This 5-week package provides you with continuous support to quit smoking for good. Treatments include a 5-needle protocol in the ear + body points as needed to reduce cravings and manage withdrawal symptoms. Commitment to 2 treatments each week is required, with no refunds for missed or fewer appointments. However, if you would like to come more often during this time, there is no further cost for more treatments. You can come each day we are open if you like. Cost is $350, paid in full at the time of booking your first appointments.
ALLERGY RELIEF Do you have an allergy season that drives you crazy? Or maybe all year and you want to boost your immune system to improve overall allergy responses. This 4-week package in our community room can give you the relief you need. Come to the community clinic on Wednesdays, or at any time we are open, we will fit you in. COST: $400 for unlimited visits during the 4 weeks of your package during open hours.
